Hashim Amla and Jacques Kallis completed their centuries on Day 3 after the previous day’s play was washed out due to rain.
Amla scored 104 (244b, 7X4, 1X6) before being trapped in front by Peter Siddle. His was the only wicket to fall by lunch as Kallis led the progress of the Proteas’ innings along with AB de Villiers.
The first session was extended by half-an-hour to make up for the time lost due to rain.
