The amount of stories you hear about people getting told off by the police for simply sitting and watching (and photographing) airplanes is huge! Why is it a crime for people to simply sit and enjoy watching ? Isnt it better than running a muck on the streets?

Ive been told off before and will likely again - but I ask any Police out there - the next time you think of telling someone off realize this - Aviation Photographers are like police officers themselves - they know what is normal and what's not! And will call the police if they see something very unusual going on! So I encourage all police and security to help build a strong friendship with 'Plane Spotters' - dont get angry at them!
