Those that know Colin Port will also know that he is a law unto himself, and runs his force in the same way.

There are many examples of serious bullying by senior managers (with his blessing) of the rank and file, causing many of them to go sick. If the staff complain they are further bullied. It is not just about race, but anyone prepared to stand up for themselves.

Not surprising that they’ve got the 5th Worse sickness record of any force in the country!

Colin Port gets kicks out of bullying, since his arrival to the force he has done nothing but upset the work force, he has introduced no positive changes.

I know the officer in the picture and I know what he went through during his time with the force, I am very suprised that the force has not bought a dose of silence as, they have in the past.

D - I hope you take them apart in your tribunal!

The chief of Police mentioned here has apparently been summond to attend the high court for defying a judges order. 28/05/2009

There is clear evidence that this bloke feels he is a little more important than reality would dictate.

If the top boys in blue cannot behave then, how can we expect the lower ranks to toe the line.

Lead by example, racism, bullying, lying to a judge then, completly ignoring another judge.

Its time to step down Mr. Port and let the capable take over before, you drag the police service into further disrupute.

Mr. Colin Port is not the only senior officer attempting to do it his way, I can report several chief officers for their failings.

Good luck in your tribunal, the Police service will throw as much money as required to falsely present themselves as victims in this hearing. They dont care about the strain on you or your family and the truth does not play any part in their decision making.

You should consider going to the Police and reporting these people whom you claim are using drugs.

With regards to the issue contained within this topic,

I find it hard to believe that, in this day & age and with all the media coverage in relation to racism within the Police service that, discrimination within the organisation remains a problem, that is not to say I do not believe this story. I cannot give an educated opinion because, I have not witnessed any such behavior however, on the assumption the facts here are correct, I believe that the public should be made aware of these allegations and that is the only way the Police service will stand tall and admit there is a problem.

I concur with the previous poster in that, the legal battle will be a long one and the force will pull out no stops to make it look as though they are innocent and any treatment received was deserved, reasonable in the circumstances and in response to the actions of the claimant.

This behavior alone would suggest guilt!
