Baatin, who also goes by Titus Glover, the Detroit area rapper and co-founder of Slum Village is dead at the at age of 35.

The details of his death are not known at this time. Baatin had left Slum Village in 2002 due to health reasons, but returned for a few tracks on the upcoming album 'Villa Manifesto'.

Word of Baatin's passing circulated quickly this afternoon in music circles both locally and nationally, where Slum Village has long been an exalted name in underground hip-hop.

Fellow Slum Village founder, James (J. Dilla) Yancey, passed away in 2006.
