A Chinese farmer has invented baby Buddha shaped pears, and is planning to export them to Europe. Gao Xianzhang spent the past 6 years perfecting his baby Buddha pears. His pears are priced at £5 each, but they are sold "as soon as they're off the tree."

'People seem to think they are cute or lucky and will buy them as soon as they're off the tree,' Gao explained.

Gao created 10,000 mini Buddha pears, planning on taking the UK and European market soon.

Yeah I think they used a mold to do it. The color would be different if they're carved.
