The Bachelorette's Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski Break Up

Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski Have Split

Perhaps no one is that surprised, but former Bachelorette lovers Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski have announced their split and have called off their upcoming wedding.

Harris, who was third runner-up on The Bachelor with Jason Mesnick, became the next bacehlorette and chose Ed Swiderski from the contestants. She then moved to Chicago to be with Ed and it looked as if their relationship would make it.

However, they have now joined the long line of failed reality TV couples and have broken up.

"I love him and I'm really sad, but I have to look out for me," Harris, 29, tells Us.

Swiderski told US:

"We're both kind of resetting. Jillian isn't happy and I'm definitely sad about the whole thing, but we've got to work through some things on our own if we decide to move forward."

It hasn't always been smooth sailing for the couple; Ed admitted that he had juggled two girlfriends while filming The Bachelorette and he even slept with one before proposing marriage to Harris.

No word on whether Harris will move back to her native Canada or not.
