Banksy paints Katrina tributes in New Orleans

Banksy has repotedly hit New Orleans with a series of a dozen murals in response to the state of the Katrina clean up and anti-graffiti campaigner the Grey Ghost. There is some speculation as to if these were actually made by Banksy or by someone of the school of Banksy but as Banksy has himself released a press release on the murals it seems fairly certain that it is his work.

Street artist Banksy has taken his trade to the streets of New Orleans, as the city remembers those whose lives were destroyed by hurricane Katrina three years ago – and the country braves itself for another storm in hurricane Gustav, which hit the US Gulf coast this morning.
