Barenaked Ladies singer Ed Robertson has survived a plane crash in rural Ontario. It is not known whether or not Robertson, who is an avid pilot, was flying the plane.
Barenaked Ladies frontman Ed Robertson and all three other passengers walked away from a small plane crash Sunday in rural Ontario, Canada.
Robertson is "really lucky" to have survived the wreck, deputy fire chief Brian Sears told the Intelligencer, a local paper. He added that the singer and three passengers escaped through a window and "didn't even have a scratch."
The incident happened around 12:30 p.m., when the Cessna 206 float-plane went down in some woods soon after take-off from Baptiste Lake, west of Ottawa.

what a hear for the Barenaked Ladies. I hope they lie low at least until after Ships & Dip V next February! Glad to hear Ed and the others were alright.
