Designed by Sir Charles Berry in Gothic Revival style, began in 1840, completed in 1859. Height is 96.3 m. Big Ben, as the tower is frequently referred, is the name of the bells placed in this tower. Official name is The Clock Tower of the Houses of Parliament/Westminster Palace.
