You heard it here first, the small BC Comox Valley Community has won top honours for their World Award Winning Brie Cheese, pushing out France as the Original Inventors, thus stealing from France the World Reknown Honour as the "Worlds Biggest Blouse Wearing, Brie Eating, Poodle Walking, Surrender Monkeys".  Certainly a hard won title this small BC Community can all be proud of and originally named by "Groundskeepr WIlly" (The SImpsons) .

COURTENAY -- The best brie cheese in the world is produced in the Comox Valley.

Paul Sutter, artisan cheese maker and co-owner of Natural Pastures Cheese Company, took the Best of Class prize in the 2008 World Championship Cheese Contest for his Comox brie cheese.

"Definitely that's the crown of my career," said Sutter, no stranger to cheese awards with several first-, second- and third-place finishes in Canadian cheese competitions.
