Beanie Sigel Arrested for Drug & Gun Possession
Beanie Sigel Busted with Drugs & Guns
Beanie Sigel, scheduled to begin a two-year prison term soon, was arrested on August 29, 2012 in Philadelphia.
Beanie Sigel was the passenger in a vehicle driven by Gerald Andrews, carrying prescription drugs, marijuana, and firearms, as well as over $4,000 in cash. Both Sigel and the driver are convicted felons, therefore banned from owning guns. (Beanie Sigel gets arrested on an almost-regular basis.)
Beanie Sigel and his companion were pulled over on I-95 in Tinicum Township, near Philadelphia International Airport, after the vehicle was observed swerving between lanes.
Beanie Sigel (born Dwight Grant) did over a year in prison for a 2004 weapons conviction, and starts a two-year sentence for tax evasion on September 12, 2012; he still owes over $700,000 in back taxes. Sigel is currently held on $300,000 bail.
