Here's one for the "It'll go viral" file: Beatles 3000. Ryan Mitchell, Perry Smith, Brian Lyman, and Nick Mundy put together a fake documentary about the Beatles, as if done from the year 3000.  The history of the Beatles is mixed up with other pop cultural and historical events: the Beatles are credited with writing and performing Battle Hymn of the Republic, for example, as well as inventing the thumbs-up gesture, which is apparently obsolete in the year 3000.

"What's truly amazing is that they wrote all of these songs with only the notes A-G. Musical notation had not yet been expanded to V."

I hope this becomes a series, if not by the same people, then by anyone willing to take up the pop-culture-parody torch. Sort of like those literal music videos.

Scary to think that people 1016 years from now will know so much about us. Probably John Titor told them.
