Experts predict that the Garden State will be hit with an outbreak of 'Karib Feva' this Holiday season, when the 'Queen of Soca' Allison Hinds faces the 'King of the Dancehall' Beenie Man at the Robert Treat Hotel in Newark, New Jersey on December 14th. Hosted by CCB International, RoadBlockRadio.com, and Race Entertainment, the second annual Karib Feva event is billed as 'Reggae and Soca United.'

Capitalizing on last year's success with well over a thousand people crowding the Robert Treat Hotel's Tri-State Ballroom for Soca King Machel Montano and Reggae icons Sanchez and Barrington Levy, Karib Feva promoters decided to pull out the best of the best for this year's staging with King and Queen of two of the Caribbean's most popular musical genres.

In addition, promoters have made the celebration even more festive by moving Karib Feva to December. Patrons will not only be celebrating the holidays, but a year full of historic firsts with the Caribbean athletes' magnificent performance in the XXIX Olympics in Beijing--taking home 41 Medals and two world records--and the momentous 2008 U.S. Presidential elections which saw the highest Caribbean-American voter turnout in history.

British-born, Barbadian-raised Allison Hinds hits New Jersey with a twenty-year catalogue of popular Soca tunes including "Raggamuffin," "Twister," "Togetherness" and "Faluma," which was the Caribbean's top song from 1999-2000. In 2007 she released the album Soca Queen which featured her women's anthem "Roll It Gyal."

Moses "Beenie Man" Davis is one of Jamaica's most revered performers, known for his vivacious stage presence and catchy chart-topping hits. The Grammy award winning 'King of the Dancehall' comes to the Karib Feva with a slew of international hits including "Who Am I," "Dancehall Queen," "Girls Dem Sugar," and "Dude." Beenie Man is also well known for high-profile musical collaborations with American artists like Janet Jackson, Akon, Mya, Lil Kim, Doug E Fresh, and Guerrilla Black.
