Beres Hammond New Album Available For Download

Within reggae, few people could argue that Beres Hammond is revered as one of the greatest balladeers to ever live — if not the best. His honey-coated voice and soul-jarring lyrics have united lovers for years, and he practically redefined the lovers' rock subgenre with his classic albums Love From a Distance and Sweetness.

Since the beginning of his career in the mid-'70s, his songs and melodies have been powerful enough to make rudeboys dance yet sultry and seductive enough to make love to day or night.

The new reggae album from soulful Jamaican singer Beres Hammond is due out in stores on October 14, 2008, accompanied by a DVD. Until then, A Moment In Time is available digitally now. The digital release date was moved to coincide with Beres’ North American Tour (see dates below). The new effort features 14 tracks mainly produced by the Lovers Rock veteran himself. Highlights include the hit single I Feel Good’ by renowned producer Donovan Germain and other great tunes such as Can’t Say I Never Tried, A Place For You, and Cry No More and A Moment In Time to name just a few.
