Recently, after reading an interview with Jason Bateman and via the miracle that is Netflix, I discovered the now canceled TV show- Arrested Development. After maxing out my Netflix subscription, I started at the beginning with Season 1 and have been watching continuously for about three weeks now. This show definitely lives up to all of the hype I've heard. I never seem to catch shows like this until they are long gone from the airwaves. I've even read on IMDB that a movie version of Arrested Development was in the works. Can't wait! The best thing about the show is all of the random and brilliant guest appearances. You'll never see the Fonz' in the same way and Ron Howard's narration is spot on.
It's very clever comedy and reminds me of my own family in many ways. Scary. I love this show. I think most families have at least a little in common with the Bluth family. I know mine certainly does.
Yes, we had a Mercedes too and a little cash as well. Also like the Bluth family, mine owned a home building business that went under infamously. Our jailed family member didn't escape and live in the attic though. My family also has members with delusions of grandeur, a la Will Arnette's character-Gob. Just switch magic with the media business and you've got -me. We also flew around in a private plane for a time, but we never had a stair car. If you haven't yet, discover Arrested Development today.
