Beyonce, Bono, Springsteen, Wonder to Play Obama Inauguration

A host of music's biggest stars, including Beyoncé, Bono, Bruce Springsteen, and Stevie Wonder, have been added to the concert lineup for "We Are One: The Obama Inaugural Celebration at the Lincoln Memorial" which will be held this Sunday in Washington.

A musician is expected to perform Sam Cooke's classic "A Change is Gonna Come", however, they have yet to be named. 

Obama's official Inauguration 2009 will take place on January 20th.

Beyonce, Bono, Bruce Springsteen, John Mellencamp, Usher, Shakira, Sheryl Crow, Josh Groban and James Taylor are among the musicians scheduled to perform Sunday afternoon. The president-elect and his family are due to attend, with Obama expected to speak.

Other performers include Stevie Wonder, Renee Fleming, Garth Brooks, Mary J. Blige, Herbie Hancock, Heather Headley, John Legend and Jennifer Nettles. Historical passages will be read by Jamie Foxx, Martin Luther King III, Queen Latifah and Denzel Washington, with other celebrities expected to join them.

HBO will televise the show at 7 p.m. EST.

This was taken March '08 at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville TN. This was an AWESOME family trip that me, my husband, and our 10 year old son took. We are big country music fans as it isn't "violent" and is for the most part wholesome.

Interesting, Well Bono did endorse other Politician Before some thing he ended up regretting as well.
