Billy Joe Armstrong's Dog Sings Along to 'Last Night on Earth'

As Green Day frontman Billy Joe Armstrong plays the piano, his dog Rocky sings. Billy Joe and Rocky are performing "Last Night on Earth", which appeared on the 2009 album 21st Century Breakdown.

No autotune or nothin', and Billy Joe confirms that it's really him and Rocky. The video was uploaded by micpanther, who is apparently one of the members of another Bay Area band, The Influents.

Rocky is pretty good. I mean, he's a dog, and he doesn't sing in English, but he nails the mood of the song. The effect is a relaxing yet melancholy experience.

It's been a heavy week, and it's not even over yet. Japan is suffering. Libya's civil war grows more complicated. The world lost Elizabeth Taylor. Can't we just, you know, take a moment to hear a punk rocker's dog sing?
