Blagojevich Turns to Guard, Cops, but Not Obama

Faced with threatened impeachment and embroiled in scandal, Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich needs to solve the gang violence problem in Chicago, and he needs to do it now! So shouldn’t he turn to one-time community organizer Barack Obama (a.k.a., “The Obamessiah”) for help? According to writer Ronald Kessler, the answer is “No.”

Chicago’s NBC5 reported yesterday that, after Blagojevich signed a new law that will put in place tougher penalties for selling guns to minors in Illinois, he announced he’s talking to the Illinois State Police and the National Guard to see if they can help combat the violence that Chicago is experiencing. Omitted from any announcement was news that the Democrat governor had contacted the presumptive Democrat Party presidential nominee for help. The reason for that omission is clear, according to writer Ronald Kessler.

In a NewsMax piece published Tuesday, Kessler details how a close look at Obama’s career reveals it has been even more mediocre than generally recognized and concludes with an observation and a prediction:

The idea that America might entrust its security and future to someone who has never demonstrated an ability to get anything of significance done is scary.

Look for John McCain to begin exploiting this vulnerability after Labor Day.

BMCWrites, I like this story. It's good stuff. Oh, yes, eye-opening, but only for those with eyes to see, who are not already blinded.

Yeah, except he is a state senator, not a governor or state level legislator. If he did get involved he would be stepping on the governor's territory. Do you people understand how state and federal government work, or do you just spout of random crap? What about the minute men shooting people on the Arizona border, I suppose McCain should be involved there? Federal, state, federal, state, if I say it enough you may understand. I can give you a long or short informative on the difference between state and federal legislative duties. If it was a federal senator's job to do that, then why do we need governors or state legislators. But I suppose after Obama pulled in a whopping $52 million dollars and made McCain look like crap, all you conservatives have to hold on to is this. It is almost as bad as Rick Santorum's "weapons of mass destruction" proclamation 12 hours before the polls closed in 2006.

You need to 'Cool your jets', V-rod. You're the one that's sounding like a maniac. Flaming is not considered good manners on NP.
