For three of the boys of Jersey Shore (Pauly D is missing) they were thrilled when the Village Voice asked them to pose shirtless for a cover (see a photo of the cover). According to the New York Post, what the boys did not know was that the cover and article would be for the Voice's annual Queer issue.
The issues hits stands today with the sub-heading "The Guido Ideal" -- a story about "gay Jersey guidos on the down-low". The story is not about the Jersey Shore boys being gay however, but about the gay scene at the Jersey Shore in the summertime.
But long before Snooki and her housemates, homosex has been alive and well on the Jersey Shore. Each summer, itinerant Guidos decamp for Seaside, bringing their horndog, down-low sexuality with them.
Judging by these photos from the shoot however, we don't think the boys mind what magazine they are featured in, they are just happy to be getting ready for Season 2 to air on MTV.
