"Man, the Fat Boys break up-- now THIS!" -- Chris Rock in Boomerang

They said it was meant to last...but in Hollywood, NOTHING is forever (sigh). It is truly the end of an era, now that "Hollywood Royalty" has crumbled to pieces. Brad Pitt and Angelina Joile have called it quits (allegedly) after five years and six kids (3 biological, 3 adoted). There were not married (Angelina said they would not get married until gays were allowed to be married), and reportedly will split a $330 million dollar fortune.

Oh well. What can you say? Marriages and relationships fall apart every day, for any variety of reasons; most of which seem to be either adultery or money. Money was definitely not an issue with these two. Was one of them fooling around? Was the pressure of kids too much for Brad? Well...none of my business. None of OUR business. They are a MEGA celebrity couple, but I don't think we need to be in people's private lives. If this was a Jon and Kate situation, I'd say it was fair game; if you put your personal life on display like that, so be it. But Brad and Angelina only display their false lives with whatever rolls they decide to play.

It's sad to see seemingly good relationships end. Who knows what their problems were. Whatever's going on, maybe it's for the best. Besides, many parasites will be gainfully employed by this news. Good for them.

UPDATE: According to People Magazine, a few sources close to the family say that the break up rumors are false. Is this a case of British tabloids jumping the gun on so-called suspect behavior? Sigh. This is not the first time that this "Bragelina split" story has come up. There have been rumors spreading for months that these two were breaking up. Maybe that's a sign that people need to mind their own business.
