Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie Donate $1M to Doctors Without Borders

In the aftermath of the Haiti earthquake in which hundreds of thousands are feared dead, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have donated $1 million to the emergency medical operation run by Doctors Without Borders / Medecins Sans Frontieres, who are operating in the region.

"It is incredibly horrible to see a catastrophe of this size hit a people who have been suffering from extreme poverty, violence and unrest for so many decades," says Jolie.

Brad Pitt added:

"We understand the first response is critical to serve the immediate needs of countless people who are now displaced from their homes, are suffering trauma, and most require urgent care."

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have a foundation that they use to donate from and their money will go to help the doctors working out of three severly damaged hospitals and even in the open air.
