Brad Pitt Gets Religious Group Hate Mail for Gay Marriage Support
In a recent interview Brad Pitt revealed that his support for gay marriage rights has solicited lots of hate mail, much of it from religious groups or people who claim to hold deeply religious views. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have gone on record saying they will not marry until ALL people in love have that right, something that has not sat well with the religious right.
How a religious group or individual can reconcile sending hate mail with holding true to a faith is baffling. Every major religion in the world preaches love and tolerance to followers, although that teaching is often lost in translation when going between God (or God) to humans.
Brad Pitt has been getting hate mail - and all because he's been standing up for gay rights.
Brad, 45, says: "When someone asked me why Angie and I don't get married, I replied, 'Maybe we'll get married when it's legal for everyone else.'
I stand by that, although I took a lot of flak for saying it - hate mail from religious groups."

Still curious after all these years......when was it that a law was passed that said homosexuals couldn't get married?
That something new? last i checked, they had the same right to marry as i do (well, did...they still won't let anyone mary more than one wife).
Plus, why should i care if Brad & Jo wutzer name get married? they special to me how?

These so-called religious men propogate and promote hate,as if hate is first lesson of religion.
There has never been a serious debate on such fundamentals of sex as to whether sex is only for procreation, any other use is sin with advance booking in hell,or pleasure or both.Clergy stciks to one point:sex is only for procreation,if one derives any pleasure out of that process that is fine.Barrens have only one choice that of pleasure. If two barren lesbians marry each other,I don't think clergy should have any problem with such a sound proposal,it doesn't amount to committing sin of any degree.
Some more on procreation. Why brothels, call girls and some other stuff?Who visits these places, invites call girls to a safe, secure and secret place for what?procreation or pleasure.
Homesexuality is unnatural, clergy's oft-repeated assertion, and thus must be shunned. How a person acts against his/her nature?is it not incumbent on clergy to explain?
Better if we stop listening to such voices. If persons of same sex wants to marry, let them marry.Skies will not fall, earth will not tremble;at the most clergy will go in permanent mode of penitence for these sinful bodies.
