Break the Pain of Chronic Tendinitis
Chronic Tendinitis is caused by using the tendon over and over in the same motions every day. You can really hurt yourself if this continues without getting treatment. Inflammation gets around the tendon and causes lots of swelling and throbbing. The best thing to do for this is give your arms a rest but if you have to work then we can’t give it a rest. The work goes on and on and on and so does the throbbing.
If you continue to ignore the problem and it continues to keep hurting, the tendon could actually rupture. I think I got to mine just in time. The doctor said I had a bad case of chronic tendinitis. It’s a good thing I went to him when I did.
Years ago I worked in a factory and did the same job over and over. One day I started hurting really bad in both my arms all the way down to my wrist. This kept hurting every day. Finally I told my supervisor about my problem and sent me to the doctor. I had chronic tendinitis. The doctor gave both my arms shock treatment to loosen up the nerves in both wrist, gave me some medication, and some wrist bands. As long as I had the wrist bands on my arms they never hurt anymore. If I didn’t wear them I would hurt all day long.
Go to the doctor and tell him what you do that is causing your arm and wrist to hurt. Tell him what kind of pain you are experiencing. He should be able to tell if it is tendinitis or not.
Ask him about the arm bands that fit between your elbows and wrist. He will recommend one just for your kind of problem. You will have to adjust the bands to fit your arm. I had to put mind pretty tight so I couldn’t feel the pain while I was hurting. Do not put on so tight that it cuts off your circulation. My doctor gave me one at his office to make sure I got the right on.
I had to stay on medication for the inflammation and the pain for quite some time. When the medicine was all gone all I had to do was stay with the arm bands. I’m sure I would have lost my job if I hadn’t had these to put on, unless they found me another position to do.
Do not continue very long with the pain until you see a doctor. He can help with the pain. Your place of employment should pay for all medical and medicine bills.
