Britney Spears & Jason Trewick Officially Engaged!

Getting ready to spend the rest of their lives together, Britney Spears and Jason Trawick are officially set to be married!

Rumors of an engagement began to spark yesterday afternoon, and now a source confirms to UsWeekly that the “Circus” star and her former agent got engaged at his 40th birthday dinner in Las Vegas on Thursday night (December 15).

"This is something they've both wanted for a long time," the source told. “It's a way to cement their family. They're both extremely happy and can't wait to become man and wife."

Trawick himself also confirmed the news, telling Access Hollywood: "Yes, we are engaged," adding that he and Spears are "over the moon."

As for Britney, she left a hint-filled message on Twitter Friday morning which read, "OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I've been waiting for. Can't wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!! Xxo"

According to a report, Neil Lane has confirmed that he designed Spears' engagement bauble, having worked with Trawick for many hours to come up with the perfect “dream ring.”'

Brit is said to be sporting a 3-plus carat round stone surrounded by pave-set diamonds, which she'll reportedly debut to friends and family at an engagement party in Vegas tonight.

An insider confirmed, “Britney Spears and her manager Jason Trawick are engaged and celebrating the occasion and Trawick’s 40th birthday in Las Vegas on Friday.”

Sources say Jason has planned an elaborate schedule of events for his fiance and guests, beginning with a feast at the Chocolate Lounge at the Sugar Factory in the Paris Hotel. Later the party will move to the Chateau nightclub.

Following the Sin City bash, Brit will likely post a pic of her engagement ring to her fans on Twitter and Facebook.

And though he isn't sporting any new diamonds, Jason Trewick did get a super sweet birthday present from his new fiancee: a $45,000 motorcycle! 

Spears is said to have bought her boyfriend the generous gift as a way to celebrate him bidding farewell to his thirties. The bike, a third generation X132 Hellcat from Confederate Motorcycles, also happens to be the one he rode during filming of her music video for the song "Criminal".

"Hbday Jason! He looked so cool in the video, that I had to get him a new motorcycle," wrote Brit.
