Brittany Murphy Cause of Death: Accidential Drug Overdose
The toxicology reports in the death of Brittany Murphy have been released, and the Los Angeles County Coroner's office has ruled that Brittany Murphy's cause of death was an accidential drug overdose and ruled her death an accident.
In the report it also states that Murphy was suffering from community acquired pneumonia and from iron deficiency anemia.
Community acquired pneumonia is common and affects people who have not been hospitalized but who develop a lung infection. It causes difficulty in breathing, fever, a cough and some chest pains.
Iron deficiency anemia is common, but occurs when the intake of iron is not enough and no hemoglobin can be formed in the body. It is more common in women than in men.
Officials say the full autopsy report will be available within two weeks.
