According to TMZ, Brittany Murphy died after going into full cardiac arrest. Authorities received a 911 call Sunday morning from the LA home of Brittany Murphy's husband Simon Monjack.
Murphy was reportedly announced dead on arrival at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Brittany Murphy was 32. She had starred in films like 8 Mile, Don't Say a Word, and Clueless.
The actress was romantically linked with actor Ashton Kutcher. She married Simon Monjack, a screenwriter, in May, 2007. Throughout her career, Brittany Murphy had to deal with rumors of drug use, eating disorders, and plastic surgery.
UDPATE: TMZ is reporting that Brittany Murphy was found unconscious in the shower by her mother. Paramedics were unable to revive her.
