Brothers Claim General Larry Platt Stole 'Pants On The Ground'
The Green Brothers of Highland Park, Michigan claim that 62-year-old American Idol contestant General Larry Platt's song Pants On The Ground was stolen. The Green Brothers wrote to their local Fox News affiliate citing the similarities between their 1996 song Back Pockets on the Floor and then took to the internet to prove their claims by posting the song on Youtube. Greenbrothers71 posted the song on Youtube with a little note attached calling out Platt and telling America to be the judge.
This is in regaurds to the General Larry Platt "Pants on The Ground". His song is a take off of the Green Brothers song " Back Pockets On The Floor'. Back Pockets On The Floor was written by G. Green andwas copyrighted and recorded by the Green Brothers in 1996. The General's song have the same intent, idea and in part the same message. YOU BE THE JUDGE AMERICA!!
