Bruce Willis, and his wife, model Emma Heming, appear in a bondage-themed photo spread in this month's W Magazine (Honeymoon Hotel: photos and article here). What's interesting here is that we have a Hollywood A-lister appearing in what's basically a(n admittedly tame version of a) BDSM photo shoot. Not only would that not have happened five years ago, but no mainstream magazine would have featured that sort of material, even with unknown models.

(Of course, Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford started it all, bringing sex-club bondage gear onstage and creating the archetypal heavy-metal wardrobe)

For me, though, what was most fascinating was the interview, in which Willis talks about his relationship with ex-wife Demi Moore, and how he and Heming hang out with Moore and her husband Ashton Kutcher all the time, rather than shuttle Moore's and Willis' children back and forth. It's an alt extended family that wouldn't be talked about a few years ago. I'm sure that there's all sorts of awkwardness that was glossed over (that seven-minute lull must be a nightmare), but still- the real exposure wasn't in the photos, which have more of a dress-up feel than any sense of the lurid.

"I remember at the fitting, Bruce was trying on all these really great suits by Tom Ford and Dior," Heming says. "But every time Camilla [Nickerson, the shoot's stylist] would walk by she'd mutter, 'It's not like he's going to be wearing them.' And I'd think, 'Oh God!'"
I am not sure what made Bruce think this photoshoot was a good idea.  I guess they were trying to do something "artsy" but it really seems a bit sad!  What do you think Hot or Not?

"Hot or not?", though, misses the point. The point is that they did it in the first place, and not just the photo shoot.

Sad and stupid

Wow, I mean can't these folks keep the sex life private. Bruce looks like a sex perverted nyph.

I don't see the point of this exercise played out in public. NO one wants to share your sex life with you Bruce.  YOU have daughters you fool could you for once consider them and not your aging self.  Grow up and keep you life private.
