Actor Burt Reynolds checks in to rehab today to battle a prescription medication addiciton.

His manager made a statement earlier:

"After a recent back surgery, Mr. Reynolds felt like he was going through hell and after a while, realized he was a prisoner of prescription pain pills,"

He says that he hopes he can help others who may be addicted as well and hopes to gain control of his life again.

Now that is a name I haven't heard in a while.

He is one of America's most recognizable film and television personalities with more than 90 feature film and 300 television episode credits.
