The Ca Tru file has been come to UNESCO

Ms. Nguyen Kim Dung - Head of Management of cultural heritage non-physical, Ministry of culture, tourism and sports of Vietnam, said: "UNESCO has received the proposal from Vietnam to recognize Ca Tru as an immaterial cultural heritage in need of urgent protection".

On March 13th, the Ministry of culture, tourism and sports sent a record that recommended UNESCO be recognized as an immaterial cultural heritage that needs urgent protection. Before that, records suggest Hat Quan Ho recognized as immaterial cultural heritage was sent to UNESCO.

Set of categories of records submitted this time include two parts: the main document and the appendix support. Documentation included 24 pages of written heritage of the categories. A 10 minute video summary of the contents of most depth, value, unique art, a risk tomorrow's heritage, the urgent need for protection. Photo Album 10 photos qualified technical, art and reflect the values, the form of performances, characterized by artistic heritage.

Material support including 60-minute films, 30 photo albums, maps of the  existing heritage and three books in categories including: Researching on Ca Tru, conferences of international categories and sources of materials Hán with the conduct of the research categories.

All two of the records are sent to meet the standards stipulated by UNESCO and presented in English and Vietnamese.

Ms. Nguyen Kim Dung said, the profile was prepared quite well since 2005 by the previous, Vietnam has plans to recommend recognition of the categories and list them to heritage export transmission of non-physical humanity. However, after this, UNESCO has instead Heritage list transmitted to non-object list with non-heritage objects representative list and non-heritage objects should be protected emergency.

By notification from the Committee of UNESCO International is headquartered in Paris, the comment editor will move back to the country's earliest members, then edited file must be sent back before 25 / 6 / 2009. NEW 9 / 2009 UNESCO Committee will evaluate nominated record for first registration on the first list of heritage need urgent protection. Profile relations will also be examined to list heritage represented in this time.
