California to Cut CalWORKS Welfare Program comment.

CA was going broke for years in pouring out tax payers' hard earned tax dollars to the welfare collectors and now it has come to this. I know for a fact it may hurt some who are in need for welfare system to help them but there so many countless welfare cheaters does nothing but cheat the system and sucking it up dry like leaches to a wound.

I lost my job and am struggling to get by with no benefits or health insurance but I will never stoop myself to that level to ask for a hand out from the government. Most you welfare collectors may not know, when you get your lazy butt out of that couch of yours and find a job, you may have pay some of the funds you have gotten from welfare back to Uncle Sam. Nothing is free in this world and there is no such thing as free lunch that is unless you are cheating your way to get it also. You gatta earn it. I’ll be on my feet to search for work, dig ditches, and recycle goods then to become one of the billion the low class of society.

I am sure most of you are thinking, "Pride doesn't bring food to the table but welfare does." Well it is true having just pride doesn't cut it but, with determination, hard work and the self will to meet the goal to be where you want to be, I don't see why you can't make it a reality.

Another thing that gets me is, people that can't speak a word of English/ non resident or Non American Citizens cashing out on welfare than an average American family who are in real need of this program. Most welfare collecting families do have members in the family that does work, gets paid but secretly collects the assitance by not getting married/ not reporting to County as domestic partnership/ keep having children ever few years because each child is worth $300~$500 per child amonth. So you see, the more babies welfare collectors make, the more they get so why should they leave their comfort zone? They have it made!  

I know people who work 2, 3 jobs, weekends, 12 ~ 14 hours a day 6 days a week to survive and they are doing it. I don't see them pan handling from the government for quick buck. In some cases, people have garage sales, buy at second hand store, cut back on spending, buy cheaper items than brand named merchandise.

If these hard working people can do this, you can too because I have seen them, talked to them and understood them that they have the drive to take on whatever obstacles they get  thrown at them in order to survive without the help from the government and they are proud.  Contact temporary agencies/ unemployment center/ classified ads/ labor board/ work force training program/ wash cars/ auction off things you don’t need.

If you're unemployed like me, I don't care what back ground you have, what college degree you have earned/ Dr. / Lawyer/ Politicians/ etc.... step into the world of labor force. I worked from ground floor up to upper white collar job and I can go back to blue collar again. Job is just a job, you are not married to it, you might not like where they put you but don't take it personal and do what you are told to do. 

 After that, then what ever money you have left, PUT IT IN A SAVINGS ACCOUNT. And if you're parent, it is your responsibility to send your kids to college. You brought them into this world, you take responsibility! Don't make the tax payers do it. If you can’t afford to feed and educate your kids, gets your tubes tied or don’t have kids at all. God knows we are over populated with human in this world already.

What I say on this my opinion, how you perceive depends on you. This country was forged on blood, tears, hard work and sacrifices. I am doing my part as an American, I hope you will do your part and realize this land is still and always be the land of opportunity and the land of the free.
