Cameron Douglas, Michael Douglas' son, Arrested for Crystal Meth

Cameron Douglas, the son of actor Michael Douglas, was arrested for holding nearly half a pound crystal meth with intent to deal. Douglas has a history of legal troubles, having been arrested previously in 2007 for possession of a controlled substance when police found a syringe of liquid cocaine in his car.

Douglas, 30, was arrested in New York for possession of what The New York Post reported was a "massive amount" of crystal methamphetamine with intent to distribute it.

A spokeswoman for the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District said the office had no comment. But the New York City Police Department confirmed that "the feds took him in."

Douglas was arrested last week by the Drug Enforcement Administration at a hotel in Manhattan, allegedly with about half a pound of crystal meth in his possession, the Post said.
