Canada Day Fireworks

I'd taken the ferry over to Halifax, Nova Scotia and picked out a nice spot on a set of stairs so that I could have an area to lay my camera down. I needed a flat surface to take long shutter-speed pictures on, since I didn't have my tripod with me. The fireworks lasted 15 minutes and it was nice to see so many people gathered around, enjoying them as much as I did.
