Cannes Film Festival 2009 Lineup Announced: Up, Coco, Inglourious

The prestigious Cannes Film Festival announced its 2009 lineup on Thursday.

Leading the way for this year's cinematic slate of anticipated movies are Pixar's latest animated opus Up, which will be screened on opening night, Quentin Tarantino's much-buzzed about remake of Inglourious Bastards, Terry Gilliam's The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus which features Heath Ledger's final performance, and French director Jan Kounen's Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky, which will close the festival.

Le Festival de Cannes will be held May 13-24, 2009.
