Stencil Art Battle


The Leake Street railway tunnel near Waterloo St. Features works  from Banksy and 40 of the world's best graffiti artists from 15 country. Thousands have visited this unusual art exhibition today.


The Cans Festival has a theme of Freedom, was chosen by Banksy, whose contributions include four Murals and three Installations. Many of the stencils works carry political and social messages. Banksy said: "I've always felt that anyone with a paint can should have as much say in how our cities look as architects and Ad. men. So getting to cover an entire street with graffiti is a Dream come true,or-as some might call it-a complete Nightmare"
