The game marks Swansea's first appearance in a major cup final, while it is Bradford's first chance at a major trophy since their 1-0 win over Newcastle United in the FA Cup final of 1911.

Both teams have defied the odds on their journey to Wembley. Michael Laudrup's side overcame holders Liverpool at Anfield in the fourth round, before their semi-final success over European champions Chelsea. Meanwhile, the Bantams have knocked out three Premier League sides on their way to the final, including the remarkable quarter-final triumph over Arsenal.
