French first lady Carla Bruni has confessed that her music passion disturb sleep of her husband. She said that French President Nicolas Sakozy wakes up sometime in the middle of the night with her playing songs. She has been in news after marrying Frech President.

The former supermodel turned singer-songwriter said her husband was "very kind" about her music.

Miss Bruni appeared alongside rock bands Metallica and Kings of Leon on music TV show Later... with Jools Holland.

She said Mr Sarkozy helped her make music.

"I disturb him with it in the middle of the night," she said.

"It's a very different world for him but he's very kind and listens to all my doubts."

Miss Bruni said she managed to keep her new life as the first lady of France and her role as a singer separate.

"I don't really mix them up. I separate them. I play my music then I go with my husband when he needs me."



She made her debut on British television on Tuesday, performing a live song from her new album on a UK music show and revealed her mind about music and being the first lady.

Singer Carla Bruni, the wife of French President Nicolas Sarkozy, has given a rare performance, appearing alongside rock bands Metallica and Kings of Leon.

The acts were all on UK music TV show Later... with Jools Holland, where Mrs Bruni-Sarkozy told the host her husband was "very kind" about her music.

"I play it at home and I disturb him with it in the middle of the night," the 40-year-old former model said.

She married Mr Sarkozy in February and released her third album in July.

The TV show, starting its 33rd series, is renowned for its eclectic mix of music.
