Carrie Prejean: Anti Gay Miss California Nude Pictures Hypocrisy
Carrie Prejean, Miss California, is involved in yet another scandal, this one involving racy photos taken while she was a teen. The semi nude photos of Carrie Prejean, the current poster girl for Christian values and morals, has many people questioning the sincerity of her commitment to her faith and crying hypocrisy.
Miss California is against gay marriage because she "was raised" with strong Christian morals that can not tolerate homosexuality; but apparently the morals with which she was raised are totally at peace with posing for titillating softcore porn-like "lingerie modeling" photos.
I guess Carrie Prejean's family focused more on Old Testament teachings than on the words and values taught by Jesus in the Gospels. Is Miss California suggesting that while homosexuality is an uncompromising sin, adultery is no big deal? She must believe the Old Testament Leviticus 18:22 to be against homosexuality:
Leviticus 18:22 (New International Version)
22 " 'Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.
If the New Testament is to also be considered the word of God by posing for semi-nude photos Miss Prejean causes a man to "commit adultery in his heart." How morally Christian is that? Maybe the Gospels of Matthew in the New Testament are not part of Carrie Prejean's Christian moral make up:
Matthew 5:27-28 (New International Version)
Adultery 27
"You have heard that it was said, 'Do not commit adultery.'[a] 28But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Carrie Prejean is said to be quite upset by her critics who she accuses of manipulating the truth of her racy photos to make them seem bad. How can they be seen as good in light of the strong moral convictions she claims to have?
As a Miss USA contender did Carrie Prejean not remember that similar photos cost Vanessa Williams her Miss America crown in 1984? And Vanessa Williams was a part of history as the first Black Miss America ever crowned, not just a runner up who thought she should have won and looked for outside reasons to explain why she lost.
The shock expressed by the public, both those who supported her and feel let down and those who disliked her and feel vindicated, should come as no surprise. Beauty queens involved in nude photo scandals always get attention even when those beauties don't claim to stand for the Christian way of life.
Bottom line, if you're going to take the Christian moral high road on a controversial and emotional issue you had better be sure there are no questionable moral actions in your own past. Carrie Prejean knew she posed for these "modeling" shots, and as a teen no less! She brought the scandal on herself when she 1) posed for the pictures and 2) used strong Christian values to justify her intolerance of gay marriage.
This is the public relations bed Miss California made for herself; now she has to lie in it, as do all her supporters who now either have to abandon her or risk appearing to be hypocritical about which Christian values they choose to uphold.
Miss California and Miss USA runner up Carrie Prejean is in the news again today after some racy pictures have hit the net. Now, these photos aren’t that big of a deal – just a girl in pink panties. She even covers her fake boobs. However, people are having an issue with Prejean’s pictures because of her conservative answer on gay marriage. Shouldn’t a girl who lives by the Bible shy away from topless pictures and breast implants? One would think. You can check out the full released set of Carrie Prejean pictures here.
Carrie Prejean has already issued a statement over the pictures chalking it up to modeling.
“I am a Christian, and I am a model. Models pose for pictures, including lingerie and swimwear photos. Recently photos taken of me as a teenager have been released surreptitiously to a tabloid Web site that openly mocks me for my Christian faith. I am not perfect, and I will never claim to be. But these attacks on me and others who speak in defense of traditional marriage are intolerant and offensive. While we may not agree on every issue, we should show respect for others’ opinions and not try to silence them through vicious and mean-spirited attacks.”
Miss California cannot seem to keep herself out of the news these days. On top of this photo scandal, it was revealed in the recent weeks that the Miss California USA organization paid for Prejean’s recent breast implant procedure.
While these Prejean pictures are not the biggest deal, there are still some more to come, and some of those are reportedly real naked pictures of Carrie. What do you think about these pictures?

I HAVE TO SAY THAT I AM PRETTY FED UP WITH MEDIA LINKS TRYING TO DESTROY ANOTHER HUMAN BEINGS LIFE BECAUSE THAT INDIVIDUAL EXPRESSED THEIR PERSONAL OPINION ABOUT SOMETHING. WHEN DID WE BECOME A COUNTRY THAT DOESN'T ALLOW FREE SPEECH? IF I AM NOT MISTAKEN THAT IS ONE OF OUR RIGHTS!!!!!

@Nicknitro
Why the name calling? You must be perfect in every way. I'm sure you have never done anything in your life you regret doing. That was several years ago, and she said she regrets she did it. Besides, what does it have to do with her stance on traditional marriage? No, you want to lower yourself to the media's basement thinking and trash her. What if the media came after you? I bet they could find some skeletons in your closet! Judge and be not judged. It's not your place to judge anyone. Jesus said, "He who is without sin, cast the first stone."

Did you read the points? It has to with the hypocrisy of ANYBODY using Christianity as an excuse to condemn one behavior while accepting another that is equally forbidden under Christian morals. You can't pick and choose which "sins" you will take a stand against, especially when you are guilty of going against one yourself. That is kind of the point.
Great that she took a stand and her convictions are to be admired, what is not admirable in anybody is hypocrisy. If she is going to use the values taught in the Bible to justify a position she should live by the Bible herself. She did not.

A callgirl job would be a blessing to some of us. Afterall that would mean that we might get lucky enough to see a full blown porno featuring Miss California. I wonder if she will look as good in it as she did when she slept with Trump to keep her crown.

Carrie was a Callgirl??? Hallaluha! That means that someone may have a porno video of her as well! I wonder if she looks as good in it as she did when she slept with Trump to keep her crown. LOL

I think it is two very different issues between posing for semi nude photos and engaging in homosexual anal sex. Homosexuals want to be accepted even though they knew they are engaging in perverted unnatural sex. Posing for some photos is not an evil act. Anal sex between two men is evil.

I bet if she was openly gay, the media would have heralded her as a hero! Perez Hilton(HA!), would have had glorious things to say about her. It's okay for the media to lambast a Christian and their principles, but if you lambast a homosexual, oh it's Katie bar the door! Talk about hypocrisy! I am so sick and tired of the media and it's one sided views of anything. Homosexality is a sin. Period. That's why God made man and woman, to be with each other. The Lord does not hate homosexuals, he hates the act of it. It is a sin, that's all. "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

If Prejean gets to keep her crown, then Williams needs to have her 1984 Miss America title handed back to her.
I agree with Prejean, however hypocrisy should never be rewarded. There's absolutely nothing Christian about taking semi-nude pictures, even if they are to be used for a modeling portfolio. By her doing that, she was being *of* the world, not just living in it.

She sure can talk the talk; but, does not walk the walk. Hypocrite!!!

Carrie has a problem with gays because her stepfather is gay. Go figure.

By strongly associating herself with Christians, Carrie makes Christianity look bad. People who are not familar with the religion will be led to think that Christians have very low standards. Sad.

i bet if we looked at OUR Youth, most of us have been hypocrites a time or Two it is our Relationship with the Father in heaven that helps us to see our Faults.
What i see is some stone casting!
the Messiah of the new testament was the son of YHVH in the old testament they are one same mind and Spirit that means they agree!
All people no matter what you have done in your past, can come to true repentance that is What Christ(Messiah's) ministry is about it is not different then his Father's except that it is to all those that will come!
I have no doubt that she was judged by a few of the Stone casters!
She is very brave and i hope this trial only brings her closer in her relationship the The Eternal Creator!
Blessing's and Shalom

Now that's hypocrisy. She proclaimed that she has strong religious convictions yet her photos prove otherwise. Before she points her finger, she should have made sure that her hand was clean.
