Country singer Carrie Underwood, 23, is reportedly engaged to Mike Fisher, 29, a NHL hockey player currently with the Ottawa Senators. Carrie Underwood has been dating Mike Fisher, a centre for the Ottawa Senators,  for the past year. Surrounded by family and friends, Mike Fisher proposed to Underwood at his home on Sunday.

In a recent interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Underwood revealed that this was the longest relationship she had ever been in. Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher were first introduced by one of her band members. The happy couple announced their engagement today after Fisher's Sunday proposal.

Underwood and Fisher have been in a long distance relationship, both pursuing their own careers. Underwood has been fine with the distance, however, and told DeGeneres in her interview that the next person she'd move in with would be her husband.
