Catholic Cardinal thinks gay rights is like the KKK?
A Catholic Cardinal in Chicago is opposing a gay rights parade that goes past a Catholic church on a Sunday. He doesn't want those who are going to Catholic Mass to eat the body of their deity, to see such a thing. After all, it would be awful, just awful for Catholics to endure a group of gay men in a parade. The worst thing is that he actually compared this gay pride parade, to KKK members.
Indeed, theCatholic Church, a foreign government by the way, wants gays in the U.S. and other nations to be 2nd class citizens. They want gay couples to be denied the right to marriage. But, when gays protest against it, they are like the KKK? The KKK oppressed people. They murdered Catholics, along with others. When has a gay man or gay woman ever murdered a Catholic leader? It would be easy for me to state that in this example the Catholic church is like the KKK, but that would be wrong.
The Catholic church is not trying to commit violence against gays, but, they want gays to be inferior citizens in practice. For a Catholic leader to compare gay protestors, to KKK members, is absurd. The right to protest does not make you are analgous to the KKK. But, being a theocracy where dissent is not tolerated, I am sure the Catholic church has a hard time making the distinction.
Oh by the way, there is a case of a young gay teen shot by a classmate in school. The shooter was just recently convicted. Because of his nature, the victim often dressed up in traditional female attire. Amazingly some Christian conservative types are labeling this shooter as a victim. How am I not surprised? I often forget about their absolute moral values, as they call it.

I think, if religious people were allowed, many would murder gays (and prostitutes). Alas some of them may say, there are laws preventing them doing so. Never ever has the most famous transvestite (the pope in his dress) condemned the killing of gays while he condemns gays for not have sex with women and producing children, claiming the human race may disappear because of this (how often did he have sex with a woman and how many children did this hypocrite produce?). He claims that gays destroy families. This is correct because of what the churches say: many children are thrown out of their family (some murdered) because there parents are told their children are evil.
By the way, Jesus, while on the cross, said to his mother while looking to the disciple he loved most: he is your son. And to his friend he said: she is your mother. Was this the first described gay wedding (see John 19,26-27)?
