Actress Celina Jaitley is a known supporter of the LGBT (Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) cause. However she is hurt that she is being called a lesbian and her father and brother are gay. “It is sad that people mistake that we are gays or lesbians simply because we support a cause. However, I shall continue my support to the community,” she says firmly.

The actress was chatting with the media while on an entertainment errand to Delhi. It was incidentally at the time of her arrival in Delhi that the second anniversary of celebrations of the decriminalization of homosexuality were being held. Celina actually came to perform a dance in a marriage function of a family close to theirs. She however excused herself from participating in the homosexuality function, stating that she had knee problem because of a surgery. Media then asked her how she was performing dance if she had knee problem. She said she was performing despite the pain as the family was very close to her.
