Chaka Demus & Pliers for All Star Match In Nigeria

Reggae Giants Chaka Demus and Pliers have confirmed their arrival in Nigeria on 24th June, 2008 to entertain football fans at the Jay Jay Okocha testimonial match on June 26th at the Ultra Modern Warri City Stadium.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

The Chairman of the Delta State Football Association, Mr. Amaju Melvin Pinnic made the announcement in Las Vegas, USA, at the contract signing ceremony in the presence of their agent, Donald Harper of Jamstar Productions, North Lauderdale, Florida.

According to the terms of the contract, The Duo most popularly known for the international smash hit “Murder She Wrote” will fly into Nigeria from the world capital of reggae Kingston, Jamaica to thrill the football audience during half time and to further entertain guests and VIP's at the state banquet which will be held later in the evening after the match.

As a precursor to the highly-anticipated event, the musicians would visit the studios of the Delta Broadcasting Service, Warri for a live interview programme on the eve of the high profile testimonial match.
