Change is the only constant in Vancouver mayoral race

Vancouver -- Veteran park board commissioner Allan De Genova is the latest politician to hop on the "change bandwagon" set off by U.S. presidential hopeful Barack Obama.

"Allan De Genova is about to make a change in Vancouver" reads the top of the candidate's press release announcing the official launch tonight of his long-public mayoral campaign.

He is duelling with Councillor Raymond Louie and NDP MLA Gregor Robertson to carry Vision Vancouver's standard into the race.
