Change.Org Reopens Poll - Top Questions To Be Submitted To Obama
Change.org, a social networking platform for non-profits and acitivists, is now holding its final poll to determine the top questions they will present to future President Obama on January 16th at a press club event.
Previously, on Change.org's first poll and on Change.gov's first Open For Questions session, the number one question was about marijuana policy reform. This time participants can vote on the top three ideas from each of the thirty topics that received 250,000 votes in the first round.
The issue in the lead is ending the drug war with over 2,000 votes. Polling began on Jan 5th. You can view and vote on questions at Change.org's Ideas for Change in America page. After presenting the questions to Obama the group plans to connect the issue with related non-profit groups and rally, lobby, and fight to change the government's policy on them. Change.org states that this campaign is a natural outgrowth of Obama's encouragement for groups to lobby his government for reform. Polling will close at the website on January 15th.

Well I'm not responsible for how people vote. When I wrote the story that was the topic with the most votes. It having topped last time at the same time as on Change.gov it doesn't make it unresonable to mention that or to watch the issue again this time. As far as I'm concerened Americans have plenty of reason to be pissed off on a whole number of issues and the right to be fed up with being pushed around in a number of ways including the threat of jail. Also I would say this is less a case of manipulation and more a case of organizing. People in this country are supposed to have the right to organize.
The Current top 10 are:
