Apparently,  the old saying, "they can dish it out,  but they can't take it"  holds true of some members of the political right.  Ever since Obama won the Iowa primaries,  we have heard charges of fascism,  Nazism,  and an Obama Brown-Shirts brigade in the offing.  But when the right engages in brown-shirt-esque behavior,  and a Democrat notices,  my, oh,  my,  does the fur fly  (from Noel Sheppard  of NewsBusters):

On August 5, Congressman Brian Baird (D-Wash.) likened recent town hall meeting protesters to Nazis:

"What we're seeing right now is close to Brown Shirt tactics. I mean that very seriously."

On Tuesday, at such a political gathering in Vancouver, a Marine Corps veteran named David William Hedrick blasted the Congressman for this disgraceful depiction.

Of course,  fascism, and an impending totalitarian take-over are all part of the Change platform of the president,  if you believe some of the Right rants in the American blogosphere.  It is comical,  I suppose,  to see  a fraction of this litany now  referred to as a "digraceful depiction"  when it is voiced by a Democrat. (* Heavy sigh*).

Remember the rule.  The first one in an argument to reference Hitler or Nazis loses.

That was supposed to be the rule,  wasn't it?  But no one listened. :(

so when a really real neo-Hitler that outwardly displays fascist tendencies comes along, and someone wants to point it out, they're automatically wrong. i love the logic of you attempted-intellectuals. nevermind facts or documentation, they're just wrong. because in the present age, feelings dictate reality. you are actively engaging in postmodernism- that your perceptions are the reality of the universe. if your mind can handle facts, research them to find the truth. larouchepac.com and larouchepub.com are excellent resources that thoroughly document these "outlandish" claims of fascism radiating from the executive and whorehouse congress. grow a brainstem.

If the topic of discussion is Nazis or Hitler then OBVIOUSLY one could not carry that conversation on without referencing the subject.  Some people need others to do their thinking for them!

I actually cannot stand postmodernism.  I am no postmodernist,  and facts,  empirical facts,  I grant full supremacy.  I am not saying whether I think Obama deserves the charge,  or does anyone on the right.  And no,  I never said that to call a spade a spade was wrong.  It is the republicans in this piece who have called it despicable.
