Shamefully I have to admit that I considered watching The Spirit this weekend. However, everyone has said or written that this movie is horrible. So, why spend $10 dollars on it? Based on box office results for Thursday and Friday most people couldn't find a reason.

Then I thought of something. Why don't theaters offer cheaper tickets for these bad movies that no one is going to see? If they charged $3 bucks for matinee and $5 for regular hours then maybe some people would show up. Especially in these tough economical times.

Actually...let's forget about bad movies. What about good small movies? A movie like Slumdog Millionaires could get extra business if tickets were less expensive and the people paying for it would actually enjoy themselves.
