Child artists from Jaunpur enthrall at Autumn Festival in Mussoorie
On the fourth day of Mussoorie Autumn Festival The children from The Jaunpur stole the show with their mesmerizing performance inspite of poor remnuration offered to them.The Jaunpur children Performed different folk dances and the best part of their show was the songs were also sung bu them live and not on the CD.
The audience were of the view that this was the best program of the festival so far.
MUSSOORIE, 15 Oct: At the autumn festival being held at Appughar, here, child artistes of Jaunpur’s ‘Gad Kala Manch’, Thatyur, ‘Bhartiya Kala Kunj’, ‘Swajan Shiksha Kendra’, Paryatan Ghati Takarna, enthralled the audience with their presentation.
The child prodigies from remote villages of Jaunpur presented the traditional dances with such finesse, it forced even the adults to thunderous applause.
The kids showcased their skills by rotating utensils on their toes to the awe of the audience. The programme by the Jaunpur folk unit was the best, till now, at the festival.
Following this, Vikki Chauhan, famous Jaunsari and Himachali singer, enthralled the audience with his numbers. The audience gathered in large numbers to catch a glimpse of the star performer of the day and the singer obliged them with enthusiasm.
Today’s function was inaugurated by the Chief Guest of the day, Ravinder Jugran, Vice-President of the State Youth Welfare Board and local MLA Jot Singh Gunsola. Education Minister Madan Kaushik failed to show up at the last moment for the inauguration.
