China, Canada sign a North American Film Co-Prod Deal by sehgalviveka

Roger Nair Productions, Canada and Guong Dong Media, China signed a MOU today. The two companies will Co-Produce and Co-Distribute Film and Television Content in North America and China ,starting early 2011.

"I am very pleased that Roger Nair Productions has managed to take this important step. Our industry will grow based on partnerships. We look forward to many successful co-productions." said Toronto film commissioner Peter Finestone, On the occasion of this path breaking and landmark deal.

"I am pleased and excited to say that this MOU with China will go a long way to build more bridges of friendship and will improve trade between the two countries." said Dr. Kuldip Kular, MPP of the Ontario Government. Dr. Kular also Serves as a Parliamentary assistant to Minister of Health.

"We are looking forward to working with Roger Nair Productions (RNP ) in North America and China immediately and work together to make history in film industry." said Jin Hong of Guang Dong Media of the historical agreement.

Roger Nair and Jin Hong were optimistic that this partnership will eventually bring a taste of the Bollywood element in some of their co-productions hence completing the circle with three of the biggest film industries in the world.

Roger Nair Productions has made history with their films (Bollywood and Hollywood) and events numerous times over in North America.

Guang Dong Media Ltd. , a Chinese Government initiative, enjoys a viewer base of over 200 million around the world already with their Broadcasting wing.
