China Govt. Orders Clubs Shutdown before 2:00 am

Reporting from Dalian City.

Chinese government have ordered almost all the clubs to shutdown the activities before 2:00 a.m these measurements have been taken in providing the security to the foreign citizens in China. The law was enforced on Saturday 17th May 08. Many foreigners showed non-comfort on this action but mostly are accepting the reality of the situation. Steps are being taken as the Olympic Games are coming closer. Universities and Colleges are taking strict check and balance of foreigner who are studying there. Security have been increased on higher levels.

Some of the high renowned clubs for foreigners have taken steps which includes Club Love ( Near Bo Hai Perl Hotel, City Center, Dalian ), Sunny Night Club ( Tei Lu Wang Gung Street, Dalian ) and JD ( Olympic Square, Dalian ).

UPDATE [ 4 June 2008 ] : Clubs still opened fully till 5:00 a.m morning. Some clubs made deals with the local city govt.

clubs are open here until 2 but you'd think a hub like beijing would keep the bars open a bit longer even that extra hour is nice...unless your a busser or bartender then it sucks
