Vida didn't just let me take her Peleng 8mm fisheye home to play with for the weekend, she also sent her EF 70-200mm f/4.0L USM with me. Thanks again, Vida! (And a big thanks to Mari for letting me steal her Canon for the 20 minutes or so I had before the rain started up again.)

I've been trying for a long time to get a photo I like of the neon sign for Jack Chow Insurance (which happens to call the world's narrowest building its home) and have never been happy thanks to the trolley lines and general overhead mess. I kind of like this one... mostly because the 70-200mm has done a great job of compressing a big chunk of downtown Vancouver. December 6, 2008.
